Big Bud Auto is a mega-productive autoflowering strain as its name suggests, which translates as Big Bud. It is one of the varieties preferred by growers for its speed, ease and stability, but especially for its enormous yields.

Big Bud is one of the most mythical Dutch varieties and winner of several awards. It is a cross (Skunk x Afghanica) x Afghani developed by Sensi Seeds and is considered the precursor of Mr. Nice’s Critical Mass.

How to grow Big Bud Auto

It is one of the easiest plants to grow and a favorite among beginners. It has a fast and very vigorous growth, with a typical Indica structure. It is compact, with short internodes and wide leaves of a dark green color.

Like any other autoflowering, it appreciates long and sunny days. The best time for its cultivation is throughout the spring to mid-summer. It is also recommended to avoid transplants, since they involve a little stress and the plants slow down their growth for a few days.

We advise you to use a large pot from the first day and you will get them to reach a size of one meter. It is a very discreet height that allows cultivation on terraces or balconies without attracting attention.

Indoors, a minimum density of 9-10 plants per m² should be chosen. It is not a genetic that stretches excessively and stays at a perfect height.

The life cycle is very short. From the moment it germinates, it begins to flower after 3-4 weeks. And in a total of about 65 days you’ll be harvesting some championship flowers.

Characteristics of Big Bud Auto

The plants develop a huge, rock-hard central bud full of shiny resin crystals. And many secondary branches with a multitude of buds also of a large size.

The aroma and flavor is very soft but very marked to fruits and spices with a skunky background very typical of all Skunk hybrids.

The effects are powerful. It produces an intense physical high with a slight cerebral high inherited from the Sativa genes. It will keep you relaxed and very happy.

Big Bud Auto stands out for its high yields. Outdoors on larger plants you can expect a great 80-120 grams.
